Career opportunities

After completion of the theoretical part of the National Certificate at level 6, the student will be employed as a learner technician for the period determined by the employer - a minimum of 24 months. After completion of the training period, the student may be appointed as a technician.

People working in the electronics engineering fields require specialised technical skills and knowledge in order to meet the requirements of continually changing environment of the various industrial sectors. Students will acquire the technical knowledge and skills that are required in small and medium businesses as well as provide access and mobility into higher-level more specialised occupations.

Qualifying learning at N6 should be able to find employment in the sectors below:

Boredom can be a real danger, however, we use an interactive approach to our e-Learning – with live sessions instead of recordings.  The webinar software allows everyone to interact and involves participants in group work; including hands-on exercises with simulation software and remote laboratories where possible.  You can communicate with text messages, or live VoIP speech, or can even draw on the whiteboard during the sessions.
