Start your own rewarding career in engineering here at IDC Technologies. We specialise in engineering education. In South Africa we've been helping students like you achieve their ambitions for over 25 years.
Start by studying with IDC for your N4, N5 and N6 Certificates in engineering, which give you a background in the fundamentals and will require 9 to 18 months, depending upon the workload you select. Then use on-the-job experience for at least 2 years in your chosen field to earn your National Diploma: Engineering.
This clever mix of theory followed by work experience will mean that you'll have the foundation knowledge to build a strong career in engineering. Once you have your Diploma you'll be eligible to apply for professional recognition as a candidate Technician.
You can choose to study using our unique system that combines live online sessions, videos, recordings and online laboratories. Most of our students choose that option. Or you can participate in face-to-face classes or meetings at our Johannesburg offices.
You've come to the right place for engineering education.
